    @M3RC
    I'm not surprised considering many damage are flawed shot traders and do not have very great abilities to provide effective zoning until late game and wrecker is online.
    It still falls to being attacked from every angle so sitting on point is a dumb option. Fern is a choke holder who brawls for the point, not the guy to sit on it.

    Why is it that the best and most fair zoning ability is a molotov, tied to a champion who was laughed at for a year.

    Proving you can don't need abusive damage to deny a point, just the right ability and placement, if a champ has nothing to hinder foes taking an area, what is the point, you can't provide zoning, what sort of damage are you.

    With a good team you win anyway. Both tanks are tanky and hard to stop, Term with his indestructible siphon is almost impossible to stop.

    From my experience Fern is a quite good point sitter. He has formidable and his ult for more sustain. He can use his shield and dash to run away or to reach the point. He is not Inara but he is as tanky as Khan, Makoa and so on. Especially with a maximum HP loadout.

    The experiences with sniper-tanks are not very good. Slug-shot Ash was nerfed again quite fast.

    Not necessarily. If both teams are good, and I've encountered this a few times (not very often), it can lead to a very interesting and prolonged match where the winner comes about because of one mistake or mis-timing. And in this situation, win or lose, it's a very satisfying game where I can actually appreciate the skills and strong efforts of both teams.

    and yet, it still gets picked for it's poke potential.

    This almost never happens. The match-making is too bad. So this rare case can be ignored as irrelevant.

    The problem with Dragonfire Lance is that the only way it would be useful over his other talents is if it didn't have any damage falloff. And in that kind of situation, it just wouldn't feel fair to play against. The difference between Ash and Fernando is that Ash has no poke at all with her abilities. Fernando already has Fireball which has a pretty low base cooldown that can be halved with Incinerate, and it also has no damage falloff.

    Sombra: "And Overwatch has butts..."

    Skye: "...then what does TF2 have?"

    Spy: "Legs."
