Friends list not showing

My friends list is not showing, I restart the game and the pc and still not showing, somehow it fixes, but later it happens again

As everyone alerady knows the friend list doesn't show players you are friend with who are online. I'm going to write what i discovered about the bug.

Seems like you won't be able to see your friend when their "steam name" and "in-game name" are different. Let's say my friend is called "Lex[ENG]" on steam, but on paladins he is called "Lex30"; in that case i won't be able to see if he is online, his name on the friend list will change into his steam name (Lex[ENG]) and since that is not the name of your friend (Lex30) the game will think he is someone else and ask you if you want to add him as friend, which will not work since theresm no one named Lex[ENG] (and if there is, he might receive your friend request).

This bug may also be due to the fact that with cross-play now xbox and switch players now join PC players on the same server. Thanks to that now there are multiple accounts with the same name BUT the game doesn't have what's needed to differenciate the players.

EDIT: This post wasn't made to tell EM about the bug (since they already know it), but to say what i belive may be the cause
