Exactly. This would be like if the rulers of the time had outlawed steam engines at the beginning of the industrial revolution, which ran pretty much everything developed at that time. It would have ended the Industrial Revolution before it could even begin and we wouldn't have any of the tech we have now. Worse, the rulers would have used it for themselves, giving themselves more comfortable lives and more powerful armies. That wouldn't end badly or anything... :P

I wouldn't think he'd be a mercenary wannabe. Considering that a bunch of his voice lines seem to be him mainly going for money in some way, either him trying to be a thief, or trying to be a mercenary.

No one can decide in my place if I am going to use electricity or not (see other thread). My brain is better than Magistrate's, I can decide on my own.
