Skye's ulti range
I have no other problems with the character - not even the raw damage of it, but the range. If one compares her ulti to barik, another ult meant to deny an area, it becomes clear which is better, even with the dome shield of the dwarf. Killing Skye doesn't remove her ultimate's damage after detonation.
For the characters who are heavier, there isn't really an option to combat it in low levels of play, or in casual matches where a teammate won't throw up a shield. getting out of the way is fine in theory, but for a heavier merc or healer, it's impossible to out-heal the massive damage. - If it were a tracer pulse bomb which killed and targeted a single person, that level of damage would be fine. Unfortunately, it's not like the dragon-falcon-punch of Drogoz - it's a rather wide area.
The answer 'get good' isn't a great way to keep players long-term. I enjoy this game immensely, but have no idea how to deal with this sort of ability when playing as someone like bomb king, who's non-jumping mobility is lacking.
Edit* After some testing, I discovered that engie's barricades don't block the poison. Not as though the dwarf has a ton of mobility to get around corners.

I think shields should block it, even when you use the mobility skill from Barik or Fernando you cannot get out in time, same for a lot of champions really.
The range is an issue, the frequency is an issue, and the damage aswell imo.

When a Syke ults during an overtime clutch objective capture moment, you have 2 options.
Stay on objective. Result = Death = Overtime runs out and you lose.
Run away from objective = Overtime runs out and you lose.
GG "Balanced" class.
